RESEARCH: FOCUS FORUM FILM TRAILER TITLE SURVEY

As a result of not being able to decide a successful, snappy film title that would attract and address audiences to our film, in class my group and I decided that it would be appropriate to complete a focus forum survey. We asked 11 people which, out of two titles, they preferred to name our film trailer.

Below are the two titles we asked 11 people for feedback (and the votes they received):

A Question Of Identity - 10 votes (excluding teachers vote) - WINNER!

Consequence Of Identity - 1 vote

I think this was appropriate as we were hearing the opinions of people similar to our target audience; this information we received is valuable as attracting and addressing audiences' through the correct title is key to constructing and distributing a successful film trailer influencing them to watch the film when released.

    I loved how you conducted and presented this! Feedback is an important part of planning and evaluation. It is sensible that you took the opportunity to conduct feedback at different stages.
